Welcome to Star Wars: Unsung Heroes. Unsung Heroes is a text-based multi-user roleplaying environment based in the Star Wars universe approximately eight years after Return of the Jedi. The Rebel Alliance has transformed into the legitimate government of the galaxy and is now the New Republic, and Luke Skywalker has set up a Jedi Academy on the planet Yavin IV to train a new order of Jedi Knights to help maintain peace and justice in the galaxy.

But the Empire is still alive and well. Now under the command of Admiral Daala and vice-Admiral Pellaeon, the Imperial war machine is marshaling around the fortress world of Bastion. Their goal is nothing short of the annihilation of the New Republic and the return of Imperial Rule throughout the galaxy. But an even more grave threat exists behind the scenes. Recently, the Dark Side of the Force has begun to surge in power, and it quietly calls many to the ruins of the ancient Sith academy on the long dead and forgotten world of Korriban. Many are heeding the call, willing to sacrifice all to wield the power of the Dark Side and destroy the Jedi.

Which side of the battle will you join? Will you support the Light? Or will you not rest until it is destroyed? Perhaps the political fighting of good and evil is of no interest to you, and you care only for yourself. Whatever drives you, the Galaxy awaits your arrival.
